We were contracted to carry out an end of season renovation on 3 football pitches at Chelmsley Town Football Club in the West Midlands.
Preparation
Initially ARC Ground Care sprayed a selective herbicide resulting in removal of the existing thatch.
Renovation
Our team improved the drainage by applying Rootzone and decompacting the pitches. The pitches were overseeded and fertilised to encourage quality grass growth. We used our Koro Universe® Rotor to level the pitches where the hand rail posts had been.
Rootzone was applied next in order to perfect the levels. Topsoil was supplied to fill the goal socket and fence post holes.
Turfing
Finally ARC turfed two sets of dug outs to achieve the finished renovation.
