The Koro Field Top Maker has revolutionised pitch renovation in that it quickly and efficiently removes the surface of a sports field up to a 50mm depth. The benefit of this is to level the surface, remove any thatch, weaker meadow grass and weeds thus allowing regeneration of mature grass. It does this so effectively the term "Koroing" has become recognised within the industry.  This process removes the plant growth so completely that over-seeding or laying turf becomes a required next step. This can be carried out once the surface has been stone picked and laser graded.

Koroing is a highly successful method of achieving the fastest sports pitch growth from scratch but the machine can also be set to leave the root structure in place to ease further re-seeding.
