If your sports pitch is not regularly maintained this can result in thatch accumulation.  Thatch is dead or decaying organic matter and its build up impacts the root system - preventing oxygen, fertiliser and water from percolating the soil efficiently.  A further problem can be stones gathering on the surface of the pitch.

ARC Ground Care use our Harley Power Rake & Laser to handle both of these issues.  The rake can be used to collect and remove stones and thatch on the playing surface.  The machine is then used to grade the pitch to achieve the correct levels prior to seeding.
