In order to achieve and maintain healthy grass it requires a certain level of nutrients.  We manage the nutrient levels within the grass by the careful application of fertiliser.  It is a delicate balance with inadequate fertiliser application resulting in weaker turf that does not recover well, and over application resulting in delicate turf that damages and wears easily.  Nutrient levels should be monitored to maintain the correct balance and ensure the turf is as healthy as possible.
