ARC Ground Care are natural grass sports surface specialists and sports pitch contractors. Our expertise is in the construction, renovation, land drainage and maintenance of high quality playing fields. We specialise in rugby and football pitches, cricket squares, golf courses and bowling greens. We also offer expert land drainage solutions for private, agriculture, equestrian and construction projects.

Investing in cutting edge machinery and drainage solutions helps us to provide the best service available. We have machinery that is purpose built for installing primary drainage into golf course fairways as well as all types of sports turf and amenity areas.

Our clients have included Premier League and Championship clubs, football league and non-league clubs, schools and academies, local authorities and private clients in our home county of Worcestershire and also nationwide.

As sports pitch contractors, we offer a comprehensive range of services from design and construction of new sports fields to renovation of existing pitches. With our specialist turf care machinery, we offer full end of season maintenance programmes too.

We have invested in a new machine, which is an industrial litter picker. Created by Barber and supplied by Overton UK this machine started out as a beach cleaner but has now been adapted to collect litter from events such as festivals, carnivals, fetes etc. Watch the litter picker in action here. In 2016, ARC Ground Care Ltd won the contract to build our Crown Green Bowling Green, in the village of Brewood, Staffordshire. The Green was built 'from scratch' on a large area of virgin grass (and weed!) land, which necessitated thorough preparation. From the beginning, ARC were professional and extremely knowledgeable, regarding our Club's requirements. During the build, the Club's Committee made suggestions, regarding changes to the ongoing design of the Green. Ade Cooper (the Director of ARC) gave his own input, which was both positive and most helpful. Also, ARC's workforce were very efficient and demonstrated their own individual expertise with operating the earth moving equipment, laying the substrata and the eventual turfing. ARC made sure that they used the best quality material possible, within the constraints of our budget. As a result, we now have a Green that is being admired, both by our neighbours and also by other Club Members.

ARC Ground Care did an excellent job, working within a tight schedule and provided us with a much improved playing surface. They also provide our annual maintenance programme, including decompacting and overseeding pitches. It is regularly commented that our playing surface is one of the best at our level of rugby in the Midlands. ARC Ground Care are always willing to give help and advice whenever we have needed it, arranging for us to hire a mower with collector at the start of this season when grass growth was excessive. ARC relaid our ground 10 years ago (after another company had made a mess of it). Since then they have been back every year and re-seeded it and done other jobs. Always to an excellent standard.
